FRP tanks have been popularised over the last two decades as an intelligent alternative to metallic tanks in water treatment. They are made of fibre reinforced plastic, which is light, resistant to impact and abrasion, and corrosion free.

MMP is an established manufacturer of FRP tanks in India. Vessels under the MMP H2O brand are produced in a state-of-the-art facility at Kolkata. They have an inner PE liner with a fibre glass winding over it, and a smooth, fibre-free inner surface with a wide range of chemical compatibility. Each vessel is individually subjected to a hydrostatic pressure test and is certified for an operating pressure of 10 bar and a burst pressure of 40 bar. The vessels are stocked at MMP offices and dealer warehouses across the country.
