About standard felt filter bags
When it comes to felt filter bags, FSI has the answer. Years of experience give FSI an advantage, and its felt filter bags show it. The felt bags are designed to withstand higher solid loading and suit applications using vessel or open filtration systems.
FSI’s “Comprehensive Manufacturing Control” philosophy ensures consistent performance: integrated technology and control over manufacturing and quality, so you can count on a quality product every time.
FSI makes its own fibre to produce the felt used in its filter bags, in-house. The Extended Life filter bag provides superior filtration of all particle sizes, with up to twice the dirt-holding capacity of a standard bag.
No-bypass welded seams eliminate fluid bypass through needle holes. A variety of glazed and singed finishes inhibit fibre migration. Polyester inserted felts, with a reinforcing scrim needled inside the felt, add strength and durability where a restrainer basket is not used.
